About Me
Hi! My name is Airielle Lowe, a sophomore journalism major from Howard University! I love writing and I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember–starting off writing short stories in my journal, all the way to official publications in my high school yearbook. I’ve had the pleasure of saying I’m a published author, and have continued to write and produce content here at Howard. I’m a writer for The Hilltop, editor for The Liberato, and new intern for Cross Colours.
Part of being a great writer means I indulge in a lot of books. Some of my all time favorite reads are The Great Gatsby, Joan Didion’s essay Goodbye To All That, etc. One of my favorite articles of all time is one written by The New York Times–in a powerful and riveting call to action after President Donald Trump’s continuous attack on the press.
